NV Champagne Jacquart Brut Mosaique
Wine Rating

95
Champagne Jacquart is a relatively new house when compared to many of the regions more established houses, however Jacquart has carved out a niche of consistent quality. This blend is 50 per cent Chardonnay, 30 per cent Pinot Noir and 20 per cent Meunier.

A light yellow to slightly golden in colour, the nose gives stone fruits, a touch of lemon curd and richer notes of brioche and roasted hazelnuts.

The palate exudes the class you expect from the producer with balance between the citrus, mineral backbone and layers of worked complexity from a complex blend of base wines and time on lees. The mid palate enjoys clotted cream and fresh pastry with some baked apple tones to white peach. The finish has ample texture and enjoyable toasty undertones to a mix of stone and citrus fruits.
