This youthful release is another great example of the quality of Chardonnay coming out of the cooler regions of Victoria in 2012.
The nose has an ever so slight sulfide funk that blew off with time in the glass and showed intense stone fruits and supportive vanillin oak.
The palate gives pristine peach and nectarine alongside apricot and smokey wood spices. This wine is calling out for time in the cellar and given Clyde Park Chardonnay's excellent aptitude to ageing It will be greatly rewarded.
