2015 Shadowfax Chardonnay

A blend of fruit picked between the 27th of March and the 8th of April that was sourced from the Midhill, Cleveland and Glenfern vineyards in the Macedon Ranges.

This is a very good release and great value for money, a light yellow in the glass, the nose has a creaminess to white peach with some delicate oak and flint influences.

The palate is medium bodied with all components playing well, acidity is well handled and provides enough contrast to more complex and fuller lees notes with pristine nectarine and peach to finish.

Will reward short to medium term cellaring.
