A flagship Margaret River Chardonnay that sees plenty of winemaker attention, but leaves a lasting impact.
A light yellow with a fleck of green in the glass the nose is defined by flint and almond meal notes that are joined by white peach. There is impressive concentration of fruit that is layered amongst flint, nougat and the inimitable spice impact of new French oak. There is a a melange if fig, nectarine, mineral acidity and spice that give dimension and significant length to finish. Drinking very well now but will reward another 5 - 8 years.
