The wine is a blend of McCutcheon (65%) and Osborne vineyards (35%) and was aged in French oak for 8 months (20% new) with 70% malolactic fermentation. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.
2018 has delivered a wine that is approachable whilst young, but will enjoy some time developing in the cellar. The nose leans towards citrus and fig with some light brioche and almond-meal notes.
Youth is on show on the palate with just ripe white peach given a mineral and citrus edge before fuller stone fruits come to the fore on the finish.
