2019 Oakridge Local Vineyard Series Hazeldene Chardonnay 

There is a lovely elegance across the range of 2019's from Oakridge, there is even more fruit on show than in previous years, but the wines still maintaining their trademark reductive and oak induced complexity.

The Hazeldene has a restrained nose of flint, lemon zest and just ripe stone fruits. The palate is medium bodied with elegance of finely etched white peach that has a lemony edge. Oyster shell is a counterpoint to flowing citrus and stone fruits to finish.

Almost shy now, but will flourish with time in bottle.
