2019 Seville Estate Chardonnay

Seville Estate are in the upper echelon of Chardonnay producers in Victoria, the wines have a certain elegance of fruit, but always take on some considered winemaking technique.

The nose shows faint reductive notes of flint alongside white peach and the spiced, savoury impact of new French oak. The palate builds effortlessly with a citrus and almond meal backdrop allowing richer stone fruits to have impact, acidity is masterfully handled and holds tension between fruit and lees induced complexity. There is a final embellishment of spice to focused white peach to finish.
