2020 Jilyara The William's Block Chardonnay

A serious wine in every dimension, and on release has the potential to become something quite exceptional with the balance and sheer class the wine is showing at such a young age not something  you often see.

The acidity is finely tuned and textural but gives such energy to the wine; fruit focuses on nectarine and peach with purity and tension.

Winemaker influence in terms of lees and oak gives layers of spice, fig and mealy richness that remain in balance. The length runs long with fine lines of acidity stretching out. An exceptional wine.
