2022 Burton McMahon George’s Vineyard Chardonnay

A light yellow in the glass with reductive gun flint and spice that is backed by nectarine and some mealy oak influence. The plate has great energy with taut lines of citrus acidity given softness from worked lees derived richness. To finish you see the hand of the winemaker with barrel work providing the perfect embellishment to pristine stone fruits, the length is significant and this Is another cracking release from two mates that have done great things themselves and always deliver under the Burton McMahon label.
