Review Detail
1997 Bannockburn Chardonnay
Wine Rating
97
A fully developed yellow hue , the nose has truly amazing concentration and richness with buttery fig and nectarine.
The palate shows layer upon layer of rich fruits ranging from nectarine to peach, the mid to back palate has oak derived spice, butterscotch richness and a touch of aged honey characters. The acidity is still piercing and balances the decadent palate. A monumentally superb wine that is a real pleasure to drink.
