Review Detail
2004 Yering Station Chardonnay
Wine Rating
93
Straw yellow in colour, the nose shows sour edged nectarine, citrus and slight almond meal characters.
The wine is wonderfully mouth filling with nectarine and fig, oak inputs add spice with a grapefruit like astringency present that is softened by subtle butterscotch richness. The length is excellent with acid still holding well.
