1995 Leeuwin Estate Art Series Chardonnay
Wine Rating
The 1995 Art Series Chardonnay is a golden yellow in colour, the nose takes some time to open up, after starting with grapefruit and melon it moves more towards fresh nougat and toffee.

The palate has tremendous depth and balance, given the wines age. The weight of fruit and precision of the acidity is a highlight given this wine is nearing it's 16th year in the bottle.

The wine initially has lively grapefruit and gunflint characters that are rounded by melon and burnt butter, together it provides an excellent mouth feel, the finish lingers with the same complex characters shown on the palate.

The wine still has some years left, but is in a great place at the moment.
