Review Detail
2007 Shadowfax Chardonnay
Wine Rating
92
A developed golden yellow in colour with a slight funky character on the nose to go with grapefruit, citrus and lanolin characters.
The wine has a lovely powdery acidity that adds a textural dimension to the peach skins and lemon pith flavours on the palate.
The wine finishes chalky and complex and will continue to reward a few more years in the cellar.
