Review Detail
2012 Longview Blue Cow Chardonnay
Wine Rating
89
A light straw yellow in colour, the nose is tropical fruited with background influences of stone fruits and a touch of almond meal.
The palate is soft on entry and balances sweeter tropical fruits with a zesty citrus kick that is accentuated across the mid to back palate, followed by some layered cashew complexity.
The finish has good acid and varietal expression, with the wine to become more complex over the next year or so.
