Review Detail
Chardonnay
November 18, 2013
2011 Home Hill Kelly's Reserve Chardonnay
Wine Rating
92
The nose provides a full expression of stone fruits and sweet oak derived characters, with the palate being more restrained and giving a delicate expression of nectarine against a backdrop of brioche and powdery acidity.
The finish showcases the wines lemon pith and grapefruit like acidity and in doing so provides an enjoyable mouthfeel.
At this point in it's development all elements are yet to fully integrate, but given additional time in the bottle this wine will really impress.
