Chardonnay November 21, 2013
2010 Squitchy Lane Chardonnay
Wine Rating

The 2010 Chardonnay comes from a stellar Squitchy Lane vintage and shows a light yellow colour in the glass.

The nose gives varietal nectarine and peach that is enhanced by some leesy winemaker derived characters and a touch of citrus.

The palate is precise, yet layered with a lemon pith like acidity framing the wine from start to finish. Stone fruits and citrus unravel from the wines mineral core and will continue to gain complexity over the medium term.

The wine finishes with excellent length and a lingering combination of white peach and almond-meal that is tempered and refined.
