2012 Paringa Estate Chardonnay
Wine Rating

94
Paringa Estate have been fortunate enough to secure the services of Craig Thompson from Leeuwin estate to help in the production of Patinga wines, this addition will go to strengthen the quality of the already excellent chardonnay produced by this iconic mornington producer.

The wine is a light yellow in color with a flinty, sour edged nectarine nose that is backed by citrus, the wine is youthful and needs time to fully integrate but has all the elements in the right proportions to evolve into a wonderful wine over years to come. There is piercing acidity that's complemented by restrained stone fruits and almond meal. Give this one time and you will be rewarded.
