2013 Logan Chardonnay
Wine Rating

91
Logan’s Chardonnay is sourced from Orange in NSW and comes from a vineyard that is close to 1000m above sea level, giving the grapes a long growing season and every opportunity to develop classic Chardonnay characters.

The wine has good clarity with a light yellow colour in the glass, the nose is youthful and balances tropical high notes with gun flint, nectarine and oak

The palate shows melon and fig on entry with sweet supporting oak, structure builds through unripe stone fruits and wood spice that gives direction on where this wine will head once the puppy fat drops off.

There is good structure and length to finish, with the wine to develop over the short to medium term.
