Review Detail

2006 Domaine Buisson-Charles Meursault Bouches-Cheres 1er Cru
Wine Rating

85
The wine is a developed yellow in colour, with ripe stone fruits and vanillin inputs on the nose that are flat and tired. The palate has interesting texture but suffers from flabby fruit and dominant honeysuckle, the only saving grace is a wonderful interplay on the mid to back palate with a savoury tannin like structure that is unlike any other white i have tried. It gave some interest and depth to an otherwise uninspiring wine.
