This wine comes from a great Yarra Valley vintage and is produced by McWilliams and represents good value buying.
A lightly golden to yellow in colour, the nose is fruit driven with fig, a touch of almondmeal and unripe melon. The palate is lean with peach skins, flint and citrus acidity, background woodsmoke adds complexity. The wine finishes with good length of unripe fig and melon.
Will continue to improve over the next 4 - 6 years.
