Review Detail

This grapes for this wine are sourced by the Bowyer Ridge vineyard in Adelaide Hills and is beautifully crafted by Brendan Keys. The wine shows both quality fruit and adept winemaking having a mineral backbone from which stone fruit, wood spice and lees characters make themselves known.

A light golden yellow in colour, the nose gives unripe pear, nectarine and richer nougat and gun flint aromas. The wine grows in stature across the palate with peach and wood spice on entry that gets focus, direction and incredible drive through the crystalline acidity that cuts a swathe through the wines richer winemaker inspired characters.

The wine has exceptional length and has a long future ahead of it.
