Review Detail
2013 Austins & Co Greenbanks Chardonnay
Wine Rating
91
A light yellow, with some slightly golden tinges in the glass. The nose is youthful with citrus peel and and sour edged nectarine.
The palate is lean and racy with just enough mealy brioche notes to complement what is a citrus dominated palate, there are fleshy white stone fruits that fill out the mid to back palate. The finish has good lees derived texture with well integrated acidity giving good length.
This wine will develop more with another 12 months in the bottle.
