Review Detail
2011 Riversdale Estate Crater Chardonnay
(Updated: April 15, 2015)
Wine Rating
94
Riversdale Estate was established in 1991, producing quality cool climate wines from the Coal River region in Tasmania.
A straw yellow in colour with some green flecks in the glass, the nose is complex with lemon pith, nectarine and flint. The palate has a mineral acidity at it’s core, giving a base from which sour edged nectarine and creamy oak inputs give texture and mouthfeel. The wine lingers with lemony acidity.
There is so much to like about Tasmanian Chardonnay, with this release another shining example.
Available through Cellarmasters
