A lightly golden yellow in the glass, a rich and mature nose of wood spice and nectarine.
The palate has an almost identical trajectory to the nose, starting with up front flinty nectarine fruit hat works alongside fine acidity and some textural grapefruit influences. The only detractor is a slight mustiness to finish, but it's not overt.
