2011 Henty Estate Chardonnay
Wine Rating

93
The 2011 Henty Estate Chardonnay is yet another stellar white release from the 2011 vintage, a vintage that is certainly much better remembered for it’s mineral and texturally enjoyable whites than reds.

The wine is a light yellow in the glass, an appealing nose of flinty white peach against a backdrop of gentle wood spice.

There is a mineral drive to the wine, but enough stone fruit and winemaker derived richness to make it anything but austere, it finishes with punchy acidity and enough leesy complexity to satisfy.

This wine will live for a considerable time.
