Review Detail
2013 Mt Lofty Ranges Vineyard Chardonnay
Wine Rating
93
A lightly golden yellow in the glass, the nose is a restrained yet complex mix of fig, nectarine and wood spice.
This wine certainly has curves in the right places, there is a fullness of stone fruits that gets pulled back by textural acidity, there is depth and palate weight from some adept winemaking that also gives cashew notes. The finish has good line and drives lingering length of lightly spiced stone fruits.
