Review Detail
2015 Petaluma White Label Chardonnay
Wine Rating
87
Green nectarine on the nose that is almost bordering on underripe and somewhat austere at this point in its development. The palate has a similar lean edge with a suggestion of fig and cashew that doesn't yet have the fruit weight to drive any great experience. There is a touch of astringency with driving citrus acidity to finish. This may well be a different proposition now, but when tasted on release it was all arms and legs.
