Review Detail
2014 Fire Gully Chardonnay
Wine Rating
90
Produced by Pierro this is a great value wine with the quality one would expect from the team at Pierro. The nose is developed with creamy stone fruits, gun flint and nougat. The influence of malo is evident on the palate with an underlying softness to the wine and core of almond-meal richness. The wine still has a delicacy about it with attractive nectarine and peach that leads to a drying finish.
Very approachable now, but will also reward some medium term cellaring.
