Review Detail
2013 Pennyweight Chardonnay
Wine Rating
93
A small producer from Beechworth i haven’t previously heard of, a nose that balances mealy characters, soft stone fruits with a touch of funk and lifted white flowers.
An enjoyable experience on the palate with an underlying citrus peel and almondmeal character that has textural grip, there is a flinty character that adds complexity, with a drying yet complete finish.
A wine that is definitely worth seeking out.
