Review Detail
2010 Provenance Wines Golden Plains Chardonnay
Wine Rating
93
Scott Ireland produces some very good wines, his 2010 Golden Plains Chardonnay is in a great place after 5 years in bottle, the nose starts with some sulphide funk and flinty stone fruits accentuated by wood spice.
The palate has a finely filamented core of mine rally citrus fruits with flashes of nectarine and great texture with worked mealy notes, driving length to finish.
