Over the last 5 years Xanadu has really enhanced its reputation with a string of excellent releases. The wine is built for the cellar and an amalgamation of quality winemaking and a great site. There is an underlying flint and slate aspect with wood smoke and nectarine having just enough presence to give excitement now whilst underwriting future development. There is a tightness of quality oak and stone fruits to finish with piercing acidity and considerable length.
