Review Detail
2006 Cope Williams Chardonnay
Wine Rating
90
This is the current release Chardonnay from Cope Williams, which is amazing given it is now 10 years old !
A straw yellow in colour with a mature nose of honeyed fig, the palate has a fine line of acidity with a slate, and mineral aspect that does well to balance the richer stone fruits and guava, the finish is powdery and textural.
It is not often you get the opportunity to have a perfectly cellared wine for $20.
