Review Detail
2013 Bindi Kostas Rind Chardonnay
(Updated: June 28, 2016)
Wine Rating
96
This wine has a structure and elegance that sets it apart from other wines, it has all the elements of a great Chardonnay, attractive stone fruits, piercing citrus acidity and complex winemaker inputs, but in particular it’s the seamless integration across the palate that is it's greatest attribute.
Wet stone, savoury edged fig, peach skins and nectarine on the nose, the palate has a baseline of citrus with white peach and wood induced spice; layered but restrained leesy richness gives a textured and full mouthfeel.
This wine will cellar well for the medium term and is in a great place now.
