Review Detail
1995 Tuck’s Ridge Chardonnay
Wine Rating
87
Mornington Chardonnay has a propensity to age, but 21 years is pushing it ever so slightly. The wine holds a golden yellow colour with a tertiary nose of marzipan, clotted cream and faint whiff of orange peel.
The palate gives grapefruit and citrus with a return of the marzipan and general creaminess that was show on the nose, remnants of stone fruits are still there, a sound bottle, but a glass was enough.
