There is a consistency in style to the Epis Chardonnay’s with a fulness and generosity across the vintages that is always contrasted by worked winemaker influences and textural acidity.

The wine gives a light yellow in the glass with melon,white peach and fig given a spicy oak lift on the nose. There is a plushness to the wine on entry with attractive stone fruits, but very quickly a mineral and savoury mode kicks in that gives character and depth to the wines more youthful notes. The finish has expansive length with some almond meal richness alongside stone fruits.
