Review Detail
2013 Handpicked Collection Yarra Valley Chardonnay
Wine Rating
92
A lightly golden yellow in the glass with a taut nectarine and peach skins amply supported by flinty wood spice. A rich and generous Chardonnay that has expansive fruit but enough citrus backbone and overall texture to ensure the spicy oak inputs and creamy lees notes are part of the story rather than the sole focus. The finish has depth of nectarine fruit with a dusting of spice and drying texture.
