Chardonnay November 22, 2016
2014 Ten Minutes by Tractor Wallis Chardonnay
Wine Rating

95
The Wallis Vineyard was the only single site Chardonnay released by Ten Minutes by Tractor from the low yielding 2014 vintage. It is representative of the great new world Chardonnay’s that are produced in the Mornington Peninsula with concentration, elegance and a penchant for longevity in the cellar.

A light yellow in the glass with reductive struck match and wood smoke that’s backed by nectarine and fig on the nose, there is an attractive almondmeal aspect to spice laden white peach on the palate that works alongside sulphide / leesy notes. The finish is framed by a crunchy textural acidity that provides drive and grip to finish, this wine will continue to evolve over the 5 - 8 years.
