Review Detail

Chardonnay from 2011, those who have put them away for a while now reap the benefits. The 2011 has only just been released and by all accounts would have been an angular, mouth puckering drying wine in it's youth. Time has been very kind and helped round out the edges but maintain purity and general excitement.

Flinty, wet rock, nectarine and almondmeal on the nose Driving nectarine with washed rock and slate that has a chalky mineral character on the palate with oyster shell and brine giving additional interest to the long finish.
