Review Detail
Chardonnay

2008 Kooyong 'Faultline' Chardonnay
Wine Rating
92
The nose is quite restrained with more citrus than stone fruits, the palate displays some nice citrus notes, mingled with typical peach and nectarine characters, the oak influence is a little raw at the moment, but given a year or two to integrate will be truly harmonious. The wine finishes with considerable length and balance, with acid present, but not taking over the wine. This is an Australian Chardonnay with tremendous cellaring potential
