2009 Elgee Park Chardonnay
Wine Rating
94
Developed yellow in colour, the nose has gun flint and nectarine. The palate has wonderful layers of fruit with nectraine and peach the most prominant. There is great weight on the palate, and excellent oak integration that is approachable now, but will undermine medium term cellaring. In terms of acid, there is great balance to keep the rich malo and oak influences at bay, a delicious wine.
