Review Detail
2016 Credaro Kinship Chardonnay
Wine Rating
91
A light yellow in the glass, the nose has expressive nectarine fruit that has a lees induced richness and touch of citrus zest.
This is a well proportioned and balanced Chardonnay at this point in it’s development. Time on lees and the use of french oak is evident, but plays second fiddle to taut stone fruits and citrus acidity. Texturally there is attractive almond meal that adds breadth the the mid palate before tightly bound nectarine and citrus put a bow around what is an enjoyable wine now and one that will reward medium term cellaring.
