The nose shows plenty of winemaker derived influences with an unmistakable leesy funk that pushes the envelope but has enough concentration of white peach and melon baking it up to pull it off.

The palate shows a youthfulness of fruit with melon and tropical notes that build towards a richer and more varietal expression of stone fruits. There is an ever-present note of both barrel derived flintiness as well as a fine line of acidity that carries the wine through to it’s finish.

Will certainly reward a few years.
