Review Detail
2016 Farr Rising Chardonnay
Wine Rating
90
The juggernaut that is by Farr continues to cement its place amongst Australian wine royalty, with the Farr Rising label providing a lower priced entry into the range.
A light yellow in colour the nose unravels restrained stone fruits with some nicely integrated mealy notes and a flicker of flint. The palate has a chalky, textural acidity that is supported by tightly bound stone fruits and embelishments of wood spice.
A wine that will grow in stature over the next few years.
