Review Detail
2016 by Farr Three Oaks Chardonnay
Wine Rating
97
This dials up the concentration and complexity from the Farr Rising release with white peach and nougat met in equal measure by impactful yet elegant smokey oak notes.
The palate has impressive breadth and mouthfeel with a slow build of almond meal and a zippy, sherbet like acidity that gives this wine ‘X factor’. The finish has driving length of stone fruits, with lingering flint.
