Review Detail

2016 Ten Minutes by Tractor McCutcheon Chardonnay
Wine Rating

93
The wine was sourced from the Ridge and Lake blocks in the McCutcheon vineyard and is the P58 clone of Chardonnay. The wine was wild yeast fermented, with a high proportion of malolactic fermentation and aged in 20% new oak.

The most youthful and fruit driven of the 2016 Single Vineyard Chardonnays with a fullness of nectarine and white peach on the nose with top notes of candied apple and subtle oak spice.

Medium to full bodied there is breadth of stone fruits the have a creamy generosity and are contrasted by grippy texture on the mid to back palate, there is enough acidity to carry the fruit with a cashew like richness to finish. A wine that shows the fullness and generosity of the vintage.
