2017 Coombe Farm Chardonnay
Wine Rating

93
Another great release from Coombe farm with a lifted nose of white peach, wood smoke and gentle oak spice.

The palate is full, rounded and layered with fig, white peach and creamier brioche like notes. Stone fruits win out at this point in the wines development with a texture that builds nicely on the mid palate. The finish enjoys blanched almonds that are joined by a zippy lemon acidity that keeps things moving and also underwrites medium term development.
