Review Detail
2017 Pig in the House Chardonnay
Wine Rating
89
An organic and biodynamic wine that is sourced from Cowra in the NSW, the nose gives stone fruits with some tropical notes and worked almond meal notes from time in barrel.
The wine is light on its feet and builds slowly in texture and concentration with nectarine melding with meyer lemon and a gentle wave of blanched almond giving breadth to the finish.
It will gain some more stature in time.
