Review Detail
2017 Byron & Harold Wandering Lane Chardonnay
Wine Rating
90
A youthful nose of white peach with a touch of oyster shell and understated tropical notes that will continue to mesh together in time. The wine has an impressive structure with a layering of acidity that supports new season nectarine, red apple and an ever so slight mealy richness. There is a thread of citrus acidity that pulls together white stone fruits and citrus blossom to finish. A wine that will be at it’s best after a couple of years in bottle.
