Review Detail
2018 Rising Chardonnay
Wine Rating
92
The wines are made by Tom Belford and Rising will be a label to watch in the years to come with quality, good value wines across the board.
As expected the wine is a light yellow i the glass, the nose has tone fruits with understated brioche and flint that’s suitably restrained with lemony citrus notes that highlight the youthfulness of the wine.
A racy and taut backbone of citrus acidity with a litheness of stone fruits and tightness of oak derived spice that gives subtle embellishment now with more impact to be seen in years to come.
