2009 McGlashan's Chardonnay
Wine Rating
95
Attractive nose of toffee, almond and peach, the palate presents itself with waves of flavour. The front palate has peach and gun flint, with the mid to back palate showing fresh nougat and a pleasing buttery complexity. The wine has tremendous balance and acidity throughout and really at the upper end of the power / complexity spectrum of what this variety can produce, especially in the Bellarine.
